Combe Martin is set in the beautiful North Devon coastline. The village nestles along its combe or valley running right down to the picturesque beach at the seaside. The village lies right between the borders of Exmoor National Park and North Devon Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty.

The environment Combe martin shares with North Devon has been recognized for its beauty and scientific importance by the United Nations and as such forms part of the North Devon Biosphere.

Combe Martin Primary School is privileged to have been treated to an amazing educational visit for our Year 1 children at the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The park and school are working to develop close links with each other as there are so many opportunities for learning at the park, which is also a fantastic local visitor attraction.

Combe Martin is a very artistic community represented by some of the parents of children at the school.

John H Moore is an example of a contemporary artist and his website not only displays some of his art but also gives a fascinating insight into the development of 3D computer modelling.

Combe Martin beach and the surrounding coastline often reveal pieces of glass which have been worn smooth into miniature glass pebbles by the action of the sea. Sea on Glass is a small business which specialises in making glass mosaic pictures using this reclaimed glass.
