The Sea School linked in with the learning happening in Mrs Harding’s class. The children went looking for the Bear’s cave. It was a long walk but in the end everyone got to decide where the bear was most likely to live.
We walked through, long wavy grass which went swishy, swashy… We walked over a ‘deep and cold river’ whilst making a splash sploch. There was a great deal of stumbling and tripping as the children walked through the big dark forest, and they certainly enjoyed walking through the thick oozy mud.
Over the course of just one week, someone had stolen all the sounds from the book. But, it’s ok because we know a group of great researchers who can look for the missing sounds…
The children of Reception Class also had a go at making their own Bear’s Cave. Great effort one and all.
